Stephanie Rondeau MS, LAT, ATC, CSCS, CHC
Who am I?
I am a certified health coach located in Boston, MA. I am also an Athletic Trainer, a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), a personal trainer, and small group fitness instructor. I help women to treat themselves with compassion, to practice positivity, and to find the motivation and strength to live their healthiest lifestyle.
Through coaching, I am able to help women figure out their own personal roadblocks to health and wellness, and together we can create a plan to help you reach a sustainable place of peace, health, and happiness. I specialize in strength training and lifestyle modification and am here to help my clients find the motivation and self appreciation they need to continue their healthy habits long after they leave my services.
I started this simply as a blog, “I Train Therefore I Eat” in early 2012 as an outlet to share my passion for good food, nutrition, strength training, and all things health related. Over time, it has transformed from a casual hobby to my true passion, and my goal is to help as many people as I can to reach their best potential.
My Health Philosophy:
I am a firm believer that we can all take different paths to get to the same healthy point in life. We do not all need to be paleo, we do not all need to be Crossfitters, we do not all need to be competitive power lifters, we do not all need to be runners. But we do all need to figure out which of these things, among others, works for us to get us to our healthy place in life. I’m certainly not saying that I’ve got it all figured out, but ultimately, my goal is to help others along their healthy living path. Your path most likely will not look the same as mine, and that’s ok — healthy is not a black-and-white, cookie-cutter state. It’s a journey, and sometimes all you need is a little nudge in whatever direction is right for you. If I can help you find that right direction, then I’ve accomplished what I set out to do!
What can you expect from me on this blog and through my coaching?
You can expect a lot of body positivity, general optimism, but also a dose of reality. I’m not going to tell you that those tiny pink weights will make your arms toned if you lift them 100 times per day (they won’t), but I’m also not going to sell you some magical “easy” solution to finding the best you. Finding and maintaining a healthy state takes a lot of work and support, and I’m here to help you through that and teach you ways to continue your healthy lifestyle into the future. On the blog I’ll post some workouts, some inspiration, and just some general life musings if the mood strikes me. I can’t promise a whole lot of recipes, but those will come in small doses as well.
A healthy lifestyle is a long and never ending journey, and I’m passionate about helping people find the correct path for them. Posts on this blog and in my newsletter will reflect this passion, and hopefully help to ignite something within yourself to help you build your own passion and motivation.
