Hello all!
Well, it’s officially Christmas week. Present wrapping is in process, shopping is finally complete, and all of the holiday chocolates that I make annually are done! I still have a little bit of baking to do today, but besides that, it’s time to just relax and enjoy the week. I really just wanted to stop in today to let you all know that I won’t be posting this week — I will be visiting with Will’s family and my family all week, and that, I think, is much more important than sitting in front of my computer screen to write a blog post! That and I didn’t have the foresight to write posts ahead of time, so we’ll just call this a holiday vacation for the blog.
Oreo Truffles… Just a sampling of my holiday chocolates!
That being said, I want to wish all of you the happiest of holidays, no matter which holidays you may or may not be celebrating this week. I wish all of you…
… Quality time with your family, friends, and loved ones.
… Some time with a good book, a cozy blanket, and a mug of hot chocolate… or tea if that’s more your thing.
… At least a few days focused on what really matters (family and friends), and not stressing too much about missing your scheduled workout.
… The joys of watching a loved one open that gift that you put so much thought into — bonus if this is a kiddo.
… Little traffic and stress free holiday travels (we can all hope, right?)
And last but certainly not least:
… A very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
I hope you had a very merry Christmas! Enjoy your time off.
